HC HTCH WTCH Kes’ Tickin’ Man Power - “Tick”
Tick is our first home bred Australian Shepherd. She is out of Kes, by WTCH LC’s Mr Man. Man was the ASCA Nationals Combined Champion in 2002. Tick makes a great combination of her parents attributes, having a solid walk-up and well shaped flanks. She reads her stock well and is a patient and biddable working dog. She uses a moderate amount of eye, has a well placed heel bite, and covers heads. She reads balance and seeks to cover the pressure points. Tick is comfortable working at distances away and is biddable enough to take multiple commands while doing so. She has a friendly and loving personality; is gentle with young stock, yet ready to take control on larger, tougher stock. I have worked her on small groups of flighty stock and groups of 1000+ animals, all of which she took to easily. Tick has also proven herself as an exceptional producer. She has had 2 litters, the first of which produced exceptional working dogs, and the pups in the second litter are turning out just as nice. Tick is Trudy’s current working dog, when she is not working hard helping on the farm or at a clinic, she is seen trialing in USBCHA Pro-Nov, AHBA, AKC and ASCA trials.
